Circuit and District insurance policy highlights

Our Circuit and District Shield policy is designed to provide cover for a variety of risks including:

  • Public and products liability 
    Cover for Circuit or District activities including; day-to-day operations, outreach work and organised events.
  • Employers’ liability 
    To cover Circuit or District employees and authorised volunteers.
  • Trustee indemnity 
    Personal liability insurance for Circuit or District trustees
  • Money 
    Circuit or District money up to a limit of £5,000, including damage to a safe during a theft or attempted theft.
  • Theft by officials 
    For loss of Circuit or District money caused by theft by any person in your service with a responsibility for money. 
  • Property damage 
    Protection for buildings, including manses, and contents owned by the Circuit or District.
  • Temporary accommodation 
    Following insured damage to a manse. 
  • Business equipment 
    Insured for use away from the church.
  • Loss of income
    Including rent and alternative accommodation following an event insured under the property damage section.
  • Legal expenses and legal helpline

  • Personal accident 
    In the event of accidental injury or death during the course of your work for the church.
