Arnold Methodist Church, Nottingham

Good health to everyone

Most of us will experience mental health issues at some point in our lives. The congregation at Arnold Methodist Church was determined to do something to help people who might need support with mental health, and opened up a befriending and support group. People can come along for a chat and to talk through their issues, or to get advice on where they can turn to for more help.

“We get people coming in every week and they say it’s like a family, particularly for those who haven’t got any other support, it’s like a lifeline for them.”

What’s good is there are different groups in operation within the church all doing different ministries, and we all have different skills that we can use to benefit the community.
